Campus Recreation :: Carolina Adventures

Carolina Adventures, located at the Outdoor Education Center (OEC), includes two main areas:

Challenge Course
Expedition Program (including WAFFYS, a special opportunity for first year students).

Our programs build an increased sense of community by offering students, groups, and outdoor enthusiasts a variety of invigorating and empowering opportunities in outdoor education through the process of experiential education.

Mission:
Carolina Adventures challenges participants to reach beyond their perceived personal limits - physically, mentally and socially, fosters greater appreciation for our natural environment, and develops leadership abilities.

The OEC is a 20-acre wooded, green space-- just a 10 minute walk from the Student Union. Additional recreational opportunities at the OEC include 11 tennis courts, 3 sand volleyball courts, and an 18-hole disc golf course. [directions to the OEC]
